Looking for some peace and quiet, while you linger in the lap of luxury? Welcome to Carlisle Bay!
This secluded, all-suite resort on the south side of the island has spacious, ultra-modern accommodation with minimalist design and all the mod cons you could desire, including a top-quality coffee machine; an entertainment system; a large, comfy bed; air-conditioning; and a luxurious deep-fill bath with delectable Ren products. All suites are sea-facing and free WiFi is also available throughout the resort.
You’ll never be short of something to do, either, whether you fancy pumping iron in the state-of-the-art Techno gym, tennis on one of the nine floodlit courts (with or without a coach), or a seemingly endless array of watersports, including snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and diving.
Alternatively, take things down a notch with yoga and pilates, or simply pamper yourself with a treatment from the gorgeous spa. Carlisle Bay even has its own library, with a wide range of fact and fiction titles, and there are meeting rooms, including a screening room, available for private hire.
When it’s time to dine, choose from restaurants Indigo and East, both providing varied, high-quality menus in fabulous settings, or opt for the impressive in-room dining which offers both restaurant menus in the comfort of your own room. Service comes with a smile and, although occasionally inconsistent, is generally to a high standard.
If you’re travelling with children, be sure to take advantage of the Cool Kids Club – a complimentary service offering activities for children aged four to twelve in the presence of fully-qualified nannies – or the unsupervised recreation room for older children.
