This stylish, 5 star boutique hotel, located next to sister hotel The Rubens at The Palace, is just a hop, skip and a jump from the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace and Victoria tube station.

Once inside, a warm welcome awaits you, and you can’t fail to be impressed by the equally striking décor: the black and white theme that runs through the accommodation is employed to dazzling effect in the chequered tiles of the reception area. Somewhat quirkily, room numbers all begin with 41; rooms have a lavishly retro feel and are equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

When your stomach starts to rumble, a hearty breakfast and a good range of snacks can be delivered to your room or taken in the Executive Lounge, where you’ll also find an honesty bar and complimentary snacks. Lunch and dinner can be taken next door at Bbar, with its South African-themed menu, or at the Library Restaurant, within the Rubens Hotel, if you fancy some award-winning cuisine.
