Situated between the City and West End, on the doorstep of Covent Garden’s famous theatre district, One Aldwych is the perfect stopover for theatre buffs and shopaholics, as well as being within walking distance of the financial district, art galleries and the London Eye.
The warm, professional service starts as soon as you walk through the door: staff members are unfailingly helpful and approachable, and the award-wining interior design, by Mary Fox Linton, is warm and welcoming, too, creating a relaxed feel in even the largest public spaces. The hotel is also home to over 350 pieces of contemporary art, so you’ll never be short of something to look at!
Splurging on a suite is highly recommended: vast, light and airy, they have great views over the city, and some great extras, including Bang & Olufsen televisions. But if you prefer to watch your films on the big screen, you’ll be delighted by the in-house cinema, where you’ll be served with popcorn and your favourite tipple while you take in a classic movie.
More active types will enjoy the fitness facilities, including an 18m chlorine-free pool and Technogym fitness centre – a great way to burn off some calories if you indulge in the delicious cuisine at Axis and Indigo, the in-house restaurants!
