The Westin at Long Beach is a BIG hotel, but despite its hefty size, it still manages to create an intimate atmosphere.

Located halfway between Los Angeles International and Orange County airports, with Long Beach airport catering for domestic flights, the hotel is just a mile from the beach and just a few minutes from the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Part of the Starwood chain, The Westin is a winsome mix of good accommodation and decent facilities, simple but still an extremely comfortable place to unpack your slippers.
Rooms are very welcoming and the deliciously comfortable ‘Heavenly Beds’ come equipped with plump duvets and fluffy pillows, just waiting for you to dive in. Luxurious robes await you in the bathroom, as well as fabulously sniffable toiletries. And what’s more, you get the chance to take a little bit of luxury home with you: almost everything – from beds to bathrobes… and even the shower head! – are available to buy, so you can create your own miniature Westin once you get home!

With a small but functional gym and a roof top pool which is basic, but still a great place to top up your tan, The Westin also offers Runner\'s World maps, outlining 3-mile and 5-mile routes that start at the hotel. If that sounds too energetic, spend time topping up your calorie count: food is available in your room or at the hotel’s restaurant and bar.
