St. Regis hotels are part of the ‘Luxury Collection’, the high end of Starwood Hotels’ range noted for their elegant design and impeccable service. The St. Regis, San Francisco adds a modern twist to this luxurious mix, evident even as you enter the lobby, with its high ceiling, large windows and stylish furnishing in neutral tones. Just next door you’ll find the front desk, bar and a lounge area, complete with concierge.
Bedrooms are sumptuously spacious: luxurious down to the last detail, you can control lighting, temperature and motorized window coverings from one state of the art control panel, as well as make calls to the concierge and butler.
The bathroom just begs you to put your feet up and relax: run a bath in the deep-soaking tub and catch up on the news or your favourite soap with the LCD television. If you’re in a hurry, the glass-enclosed stone shower with its rainfall showerhead will soak your cares away.
Deluxe rooms offer a spacious work area with large writing desk and comfy chair. Guests have access to three (yes, three!) telephones with personalized voice mail and a customized phone or fax number. If work just won’t wait, and the business centre is too far away, a fax/copy/scanner/printer can be delivered to your room upon request.
Once your work is done, enjoy some ‘me-time’ with one of a wide range of treatments in the spa, then take time to refuel: breakfast and lunch are on offer at the light-filled Vitrine, or if you fancy some sashimi for dinner, visit Ame, in the lobby. Al fresco dining is available on the Yerba Buena Terrace.
